Halo: Campaign Evolved brings the original Master Chief story to modern consoles and PC, letting players experience the franchise’s roots with updated graphics and audio. The update is notable for introducing local split-screen co-op to , addressing a long-standing absence of this feature on the console. Players can now experience the campaign with a local partner, replicating the shared console experience available on the original Xbox.

The remake adds local couch co-op and cross-platform multiplayer

343 Industries rebuilt the campaign from the ground up to support these new features alongside the visual overhaul. The game launches on |S, PlayStation 5, and PC, ensuring a wide audience can access the updated experience. Players who buy the Premium Edition get early access to the full campaign, starting five days before the standard release.
