Google has introduced the Pixel 11 Pro Fold, a new foldable smartphone that prioritizes a thinner profile and upgraded imaging capabilities. This release matters to buyers who want a foldable device that feels less bulky in a pocket while offering better low-light photography than previous generations. The company aims to address the bulkiness that often plagues foldable form factors through significant design refinements.

The device runs on Google's latest Tensor G6 processor and pairs it with 16GB of RAM. This hardware combination supports the phone's new imaging sensors and ensures smooth multitasking across its dual screens. The internal processor handles the increased demands of the larger displays and advanced camera processing.

The camera system features a 48MP main sensor with a 1/1.56" size and f/1.7 aperture, which Google claims gathers 56% more light than the previous model. It also includes a 10.5MP ultrawide lens and a 10.8MP telephoto lens with 5x optical zoom. Both the 8-inch internal Super Actua Flex display and the 6.5-inch external Super Actua display reach up to 3,600 nits of peak brightness.

The Pixel 11 Pro Fold starts at 1999 EUR (around $2,308) for the 256GB storage configuration. Pre-orders begin on August 12, with global availability following the same date. The phone launches with Android 17 and promises seven years of OS, security, and Pixel Drop updates.
