FromSoftware is preparing a new trailer and an online test for The Duskbloods on the Nintendo Switch 2. This update follows a long period of silence since the game first appeared in ’s initial Switch 2 Direct presentation.

Action RPG beta requires Nintendo Switch Online membership this summer

The action role-playing game is designed for Nintendo’s next-generation hybrid console. FromSoftware currently lists The Duskbloods alongside Elden Ring Tarnished Edition in its development pipeline for a 2026 release window on the platform.

A closed network test will run this summer and requires an active membership to Nintendo Switch Online. Players must hold that subscription tier to access the beta environment during the testing phase.

The latest trailer does not confirm a specific launch date for The Duskbloods. Parent company Kadokawa’s recent earnings results suggested the game remains on track for release within the current calendar year, though no firm schedule exists yet.

FromSoftware has kept the project quiet since its initial announcement. FromSoftware will gather player input during the closed network test to help guide future development decisions.
