EA SPORTS FC 27 launches on PC on September 25, giving console veterans a new entry point to the series. This release matters because the game carries Denuvo anti-tamper protection, which can affect system performance and modding potential. Buyers with older hardware need to check the minimum specs before preordering.
Electronic Arts confirms cross-gen launch and system requirements
The title serves as a cross-generation release rather than a next-gen exclusive. Electronic Arts introduced a new social mode called The Grounds for this version. The developer describes The Grounds as a social football playground where the streets meet the stadium. This mode adds a casual layer to the traditional competitive gameplay loop.
Minimum requirements list an AMD Ryzen 5 1600 or Intel Core i5 6600k processor. You also need 8 GB of DDR4 dual-channel RAM and an AMD RX 570 or Nvidia GTX 1050 Ti graphics card. DirectX 12 is required, and the installation demands 100 GB of available storage space.
Recommended specs step up to an AMD Ryzen 7 2700X or Intel Core i7 6700 processor. The recommended RAM increases to 12 GB dual-channel, and the GPU requirement shifts to an AMD RX 5600 XT or Nvidia GTX 1660. Visual improvements are not major according to early assessments of the gameplay trailer.
