Cold Iron Studios has announced Aliens: Fireteam Elite 2, a sequel to the 2021 co-op shooter. The game expands from three-player to four-player co-op, allowing larger squads to fight Xenomorphs together.

Expanding to four-player co-op

The sequel introduces a fully customizable Specialist class alongside new and improved classes. It will feature a massive variety of new Xenomorph enemies and multiple dedicated horde maps at launch.

Aliens: Fireteam Elite 2 is set to launch in summer 2026 on and the Epic Games Store. Pricing has not been announced.

Game Director Chris Cross said the team is doubling down on action and terror to deliver an experience worthy of the Alien franchise. The original game was well received for its co-op gameplay, and the sequel aims to build on that foundation with more players and more enemies.
