Cold Iron Studios cuts 19 staff from 50-70 person team
Parent company Enad Global 7 (EG7) confirmed the workforce reduction at the studio. The company stated that the studio will continue development and support for the title despite the cuts. The company stated that development and support for the title will continue, addressing fears that the project might be discontinued right after its release.
At least 19 employees were laid off from a team of approximately 50 to 70 staff members. The reduction represents a significant portion of the development workforce. The layoffs occurred shortly after the game's initial release on August 25.
A version of the game for the Nintendo Switch 2 is planned for early 2027. With a version for Nintendo Switch 2 planned for early 2027, the studio is expected to concentrate its efforts on expanding the game to additional platforms.
