AYN is raising prices for its Thor and Odin 3 handheld gaming devices later this month. The company cites rising costs for RAM and storage components as the reason for the increase. Current inventory will sell at existing prices until stock runs out.

The Thor lineup includes four configurations, while the Odin 3 offers four variants. Both lines use Android-based platforms designed for portable gaming. AYN ships these units with UFS 3.1 storage instead of the faster UFS 4.0 standard.

Spec comparison

Spec Thor Lite Odin 3 Base
Processor Snapdragon 865 Android-based platform
RAM/Storage 8GB RAM + 128GB storage 8+128GB
Price $249 USD $339 USD

Thor Lite pairs a Snapdragon 865 processor with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage at $249 USD. Thor Base, Pro, and Max models use the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip across all tiers. Odin 3 configurations range from 8GB to 24GB of RAM paired with 128GB to 1TB of storage.

Current pre-orders for both handhelds will ship in August according to AYN on Discord. The company has not disclosed the exact dollar amount of the upcoming price increase. Buyers who order now lock in current pricing before the adjustment takes effect.

AYN increased Thor and Odin 3 prices by $10 to $40 across all models in March 2026. The previous price increase occurred alongside the transition from UFS 4.0 to UFS 3.1 storage. The vendor also introduced new Thor Max variants with lower storage capacities during that period.

AYN accepts pre-orders for the Thor and Odin 3 handhelds at current prices until inventory sells out. New pricing will apply once existing stock depletes later this month. All units ship in August with UFS 3.1 storage.
