The Honor 600 Super Edition launches in China with an 8,600 mAh battery, 200 MP camera, Snapdragon 7 Gen 4, and a 6.57-inch AMOLED display reaching 8,000 nits peak brightness.

Honor has launched the Honor 600 Super Edition, a new smartphone that builds on its recent lineup with significant upgrades to battery life and display performance. The device arrives just weeks after the standard Honor 600 and Honor 600 Pro models, offering a refined package for users seeking extended power and visual clarity.

New smartphone features massive battery upgrade and high brightness display

The phone centers around a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 processor paired with a 6.57-inch AMOLED screen. This display delivers a resolution of 2,728 by 1,264 pixels and achieves an HDR peak brightness of 8,000 nits. Honor also claims the panel can sustain 1,800 nits across its entire surface for everyday use.

Specifications

  • Display: 6.57-inch AMOLED
  • Battery: 8,600 mAh
  • Processor: Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 4
  • Main Camera: 200 MP f/1.9

Battery capacity jumps to 8,600 mAh, a notable increase from the 7,000 mAh units found in previous models. The device supports up to 80 watts of charging power through a USB-C port. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4, and an NFC chip for contactless payments.

The camera array features a 200 megapixel main sensor with an f/1.9 aperture, complemented by a 12 megapixel ultra-wide lens at f/2.2. A 50 megapixel selfie camera sits behind the display with an f/2.0 opening. Honor lists screen bezels at just 0.98 millimeters wide, though sources note this measurement likely refers only to the black border rather than the full metal frame.

Pricing in China starts at CNY 3,299 for a configuration with 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage. A higher tier with 512 GB of storage costs CNY 3,699. Both models include an 80W charger and a protective case in the box.

International availability details remain pending as Honor focuses its initial rollout on the Chinese market. The company has not yet shared launch dates or pricing for other regions, leaving global consumers waiting for further announcements.
