The device centers on the recently introduced Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 system-on-chip. Lenovo positions this processor as a viable alternative to previous flagship chips by claiming it delivers performance comparable to the last-generation Snapdragon 8 Elite.

The Legion Y70 features a substantial 8,000mAh battery to support extended gaming sessions. The phone utilizes a 2K high-speed display that Lenovo states offers better visuals while consuming less power than the 1.5K screens found on rival devices.
