What's good people? The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is now playable on Windows PCs with the unofficial port called Savage Wind Recomp. This is significant because now people can play the open world title on the PC platform, which can offer higher frame rate and better graphics.

And this is all without having to wait for Nintendo's official release. Grab the port from the developer's GitHub repo here.
This port is a recompilation of the original Switch game, not a native Windows port. Currently only the game's starting area of the Great Plateau is supported so it is rather limited in what can be experienced. The developer (u/ReviveDx) has made version 0.2.0-alpha.2 publicly available for testing.
Default frame rate of the PC port is 60 FPS but it can be set to target 30 FPS, 90 FPS, or 120 FPS. You can also disable the frame rate limit completely and go uncapped. The game can output in native 4K resolution. It also has AMD FSR 1 upscaling for better speed even on low end systems.
GPU must support Vulkan 1.3, and CPU must support AVX2 instruction set. You'll need about 35 GB of free space to install the port. It also has shader and pipeline cache to avoid stuttering from shader compilation while in game.
You'll need your own copy of the Switch game (v1.8.2) to be able to play the port. At this stage, the port does not support DLC and areas outside the Great Plateau. The developer notes that there may be bugs or crashes in later portions of the game that haven't been tested thoroughly yet.
