Samsung and Google have announced a new pair of smart glasses running on the Android XR platform. The device is expected to launch in fall 2026 in select markets.
Gemini AI powers voice commands and translation
The smart glasses feature deep integration with Gemini AI, enabling voice commands and real-time understanding of the environment. They support live translation of conversations, menus, and signs. A single built-in camera with an LED indicator is included for capturing images and video.

Samsung partnered with Gentle Monster and Warby Parker for the first collection of design styles. The glasses work with the Galaxy ecosystem of devices, allowing seamless connectivity with Samsung phones, tablets, and other gadgets.
The initial launch will focus on audio experiences, though the full range of capabilities has not been detailed. Google and Samsung have not confirmed the exact markets or pricing for the device.
