The Vivo X500 Pro Max relies on MediaTek’s Dimensity 9600 Pro, a 2nm chip that the manufacturer claims delivers 17% higher single-core performance. This processor powers a massive 6.85-inch BOE Q11 display that supports a variable refresh rate up to 144Hz and reaches 4,400 nits in peak brightness. The device also houses an 8,000mAh battery, which supports 90W wired and 40W wireless charging, addressing the common pain point of daily power anxiety for heavy users.

Spec comparison

Apple’s iPhone 18 Pro Max counters with its own 2nm A20 Pro chip and a 6.9-inch Super Retina XDR display with ProMotion up to 120Hz. Apple states that its new thermal packaging allows for up to 40% better sustained performance compared to previous generations. The iPhone retains a 48MP Fusion main camera but adds a variable aperture that switches between f/1.48 and f/4.0, offering physical control over light intake and depth of field.
