Wuthering Waves version 3.7 launches on September 30 with a new main quest, new playable characters, and quality-of-life improvements that reduce inventory clutter. Players who manage large inventories or juggle multiple team compositions will find the update particularly useful. The patch introduces Chapter IV Act IV of the main storyline alongside a new Tales Quest and a new explorable zone.

New Resonators and inventory fixes arrive September 30
Kuro Games brings two new Resonators, Hsin and Suoming, to the game through the Featured Resonator Convenes. The update also adds two new weapons, Blooming Jadehaven and Unspoken Rue, to the shop. Players can explore the new Simulacrum Nexus of Mengzhou area and participate in the permanent Blooms for the Shadow event.
The Echo system receives five new entries: Formrender, Soulfrayer, Skywatch Lancer, Bloomburst Puppet, and Jade Nether Serpent. Players can also obtain the Phantom Echo, Phantom: Skywatch Lancer. Three new Sonata Effects join the pool: Heart of Sworn Vigil, Flash of Electric Reflection, and Flower of Tinged Yearning.
Inventory management improves as unequipped, non-upgraded Echoes automatically stack into single backpack items holding up to 999 units. Team management expands to 20 setups with a new 3D Team Setup Mode for visual configuration. The camera system adds Handheld and Selfie modes, while Tripod Mode offers a more freely controllable drone perspective.
Tiered Client Resource Downloads for UHD, HD, and SD options begin testing on PC, iOS, and Android to help manage storage space. A Journey Log feature enables Main Quest Replay for content from versions 1.1, 1.2, and 1.3. We looked at the last Wuthering Waves update earlier while tracking balance changes across versions.
The version 3.7 update, titled Prism’s Illusion, Heart’s Illumination, goes live globally on September 30. It delivers new story content, characters, and technical tweaks for inventory and team management.
