ASUS introduced the ProArt Display OLED PA27UCDV at IBC 2026 in Amsterdam, bringing a high-end QD-OLED panel to the professional market. This new monitor targets creators who need precise color grading and high brightness for HDR workflows. The device offers a significant upgrade in peak brightness over previous OLED standards, addressing a common limitation in professional displays.

High-end display adds 140W Thunderbolt 4 and Auto KVM for creators

The centerpiece of the PA27UCDV is a 26.5-inch 4K QD-OLED panel running at a 120Hz refresh rate. ASUS rates the screen at 1,000 nits of peak brightness, which helps content pop in bright environments. The panel covers 99% of the DCI-P3 color space and maintains a sub-1 Delta E accuracy rating for professional fidelity.

ProArt Display OLED PA27UCDV Specifications

  • Panel Size: 26.5-inch
  • Resolution: 4K
  • Panel Technology: QD-OLED
  • Refresh Rate: 120Hz
  • Peak Brightness: 1,000 nits

Connectivity focuses on high-speed data and power delivery for modern workstations. The monitor includes two Thunderbolt 4 ports, with one delivering up to 140W to charge a connected laptop. Additional ports feature HDMI 2.1, DisplayPort 1.4 with DSC, a built-in USB hub, and an Auto KVM switch for managing multiple computers.

An anti-glare LuxPixel coating reduces reflections without compromising the OLED contrast. ASUS has not yet announced a specific release date or price for the monitor. The company states that availability and pricing will vary by region, so buyers should check with local sales representatives for details.

We touched on Asus ProArt PA279CDV QD-OLED Monitor Launches in our earlier Asus coverage. That previous model offered a similar QD-OLED experience at a different price point. The new PA27UCDV appears to target a higher-end segment with its increased brightness and Thunderbolt connectivity.
