Pearl Abyss released a targeted stability update for Crimson Desert Enhanced, addressing a specific crash that disrupts the player experience. This patch matters because it resolves a blocking issue for users who rely on to start new campaigns. This patch follows the major Version 2.0 release shortly after, addressing technical feedback from the community.

Patch 2.02.00 resolves DLSS Frame Gen crash and quest bugs

The update, identified as Title Update 2.02.00, targets the PC version of the game. It specifically addresses a crash that occurs when players attempt to begin a new game with DLSS Frame Generation enabled. Pearl Abyss confirmed the fix in their release notes, stating they resolved the issue where the game would crash under these specific conditions.

The patch file size is 196MB for PC users. Beyond the critical DLSS fix, the update addresses quest progression issues in 'The Words of Alustin' and Thornbriar Fortress liberation. It also corrects UI text shaking and fixes localization errors, including issues with Arabic text display. Visual glitches involving armor noise and Kliff appearance with specific gear are also resolved.

We looked at the last Crimson Desert Enhanced update earlier while tracking these stability improvements. This new release continues the pattern of addressing balance and technical themes introduced in Version 2.0. Players can now resume their campaigns without encountering the previous frame generation crash.

The 196MB patch is now available for download on PC. It fixes the DLSS Frame Gen crash and addresses several minor visual and quest bugs from the recent major update. This release ensures a smoother experience for players using DLSS features.
