Players returning to Dragon's Dogma 2 on have experienced issues with save data loading incorrectly. Capcom addressed this specific pain point with the release of Title Update 3.210 on September 7. This patch targets a critical data integrity issue that caused players to lose recent progress when loading their games. The update ensures that cloud saves and title screen loads retrieve the correct data.

Patch 3.210 resolves timestamp overwriting errors on PS5

The update applies to both the standard PlayStation 5 and the newer PlayStation 5 Pro models. Capcom released the patch globally, making it available for immediate download on the PlayStation Store. The fix specifically addresses the behavior of the 'Load from Last Saved Data' option on the main title screen. Players launching the game for the first time after installing the update will experience the corrected loading logic.

According to Capcom, the patch resolves a bug where save data timestamps were incorrectly overwritten. Previously, the game could load older save data instead of the most recent progress when launching after an update or loading a cloud save. The developer stated they fixed this to ensure that selecting 'Load from Last Saved Data' loads the correct save data. This change prevents the accidental overwriting of newer save files with older ones during the initial load sequence.

The update is version 3.210 and is available now for all PS5 users. Players can apply the fix by simply installing the update. The fix ensures that cloud save synchronization and local data loading work as intended. This resolves the specific timestamp overwriting error introduced in the previous Title Update 3.2.
