The Vampire Survivors hotfix released on September 3 stabilizes the console experience by patching critical glitches that disrupted gameplay. Players on consoles can now resume their runs without encountering texture errors or character teleportation issues. This update addresses immediate stability concerns that arose shortly after the Legacy of the Bloodmoon DLC launch.

Developer poncle patches texture and weapon bugs

Developer poncle issued this patch as version 1.16.107 for the game, which corresponds to console update version 1.34 or 1.016.107. The release targets the console platforms specifically to resolve issues that were not present in the public beta or other versions. The update ensures that the core survival mechanics function as intended for the current player base.

The patch resolves several weapon-specific bugs, including instances where Water Whip, Hydrostormer Tip, and Salamander would lose their heads and glitch the game. It also fixes a cascading bug that stopped the game from loading textures, which previously displayed large squares instead of visual effects. Additionally, the update corrects animation issues for Carrozza! and Profusione d’Amore weapons.

Beyond weapon fixes, the hotpatch addresses environmental and interface problems, such as missing arcana holder enemies in Red Moon Manor and slow navigation in the Bestiary. The developers fixed a bug where characters could get stuck or be teleported off-screen during boss fights in the Bloodmoon stages. The update also adds missing Limit Breaks to Bloodmoon weapons and fixes localization errors for some character names.

We looked at the last Vampire Survivors update earlier while tracking the DLC launch, and several of the same balance and stability themes came up. This hotfix serves as a necessary correction to ensure the new content integrates smoothly with the existing game engine. The update is now available to console players seeking a stable experience.
