October 17, Pawprint Studio released a hotfix for Aniimo to resolve stability problems on console. If you were running into issues like lag or screen artifacts when interacting with menus, this hotfix will be immediate relief for you. The primary focus of the hotfix is to address specific console bugs that are ruining the user experience. The goal is to make navigating and interacting with the game’s menus that much easier.
Third patch this week resolves console stability issues and disables rewards
The hotfix (version 1.022 or 01.022.000) is an attempt to fix some bugs. It is not really adding any new content to the game. The focus of the hotfix is to address a few bugs, especially as they relate to the console version of the game.
Specifically, the bugs that are ruining the experience when attempting to navigate the menus and look at character information. Previous hotfixes to the game have also been focused on these same sorts of stability themes.
According to the patch notes, there are a few specifics for console players. Pawprint Studio said they fixed an issue with heavy lag when opening menu in console. They also fixed the offset nickname problem in Operation: Egg Heist in console and fixed the abnormal icon display in some function interface.
They mentioned they temporarily closed access to rewards for Tiered Grand Gifts Stage 4 due to claiming issues. According to Pawprint Studio they have temporarily closed access and are urgently working to fix this problem. They also confirmed in the patch notes that this did fix the issue of not being able to claim rewards as normal.
This hotfix is the third patch the game has received this week. Last time we discussed Aniimo, there were some similar themes related to balance and stability. Like the last few updates, the dev’s are still more focused on fixing the technical aspects of the game than adding new content.
