The update introduces specific fixes for Team Builder, returning teams with unsupported items to their default options. Electronic Arts described this change as a necessary stability fix to ensure the longevity of the Team Builder feature. Additionally, the patch resolves a bug where some players failed to earn Skill Points from Practice XP until they played in a game.

* Fixed an issue where unsupported content was contributing to stability issues in Team Builder.
* **Dev Note:** This is the stability fix recently communicated as necessary for Team Builder longevity. Teams with unsupported items will be returned to default options.
* Fixed an issue where some players would not earn Skill Points from Practice XP until playing in a game.
* Fixed an issue where the wrong Heisman winner could be shown in the Heisman ceremony.
* Fixed an issue where Conference Championships and CFP First Round games were both scheduled for December 19.

Gameplay

* Tuned to increase holding penalties when the Blocking Coach adjustment is set to **Aggressive**.
* Improved offensive tackle targeting when facing contain defenders.
* Fixed an issue preventing offensive tackles from identifying linebackers moved to a wide alignment in 3-3 Cub.
* Fixed an issue that caused receivers to often jump for catches unnecessarily.
* Fixed an issue where slot defenders would sometimes not flip positioning when the defensive play was flipped.
* Addressed an issue where custom-adjusted defenders would sometimes have the wrong assignment during hurry-up.
* Tuned defender non-engage win chances when at a ratings advantage over the opposing blocker.
* Improved zone-block targeting for various play types.

Gameplay tuning increases holding penalties when the Blocking Coach adjustment is set to Aggressive. The patch also improves offensive tackle targeting when facing contain defenders and fixes receiver jump logic.
