Scuf Gaming has released the Nemesis Pro 8K controller family, marking a shift toward ultra-high-frequency polling for PC gamers. This update matters because the 8,000Hz polling rate targets response times below one millisecond, which reduces the delay between your inputs and on-screen actions. Buyers who prioritize competitive precision will find these specs relevant to their setup.

TMR thumbsticks and mechanical switches target sub-1ms response

The lineup includes two distinct models: the Nemesis Pro 8K PC Wired and the Nemesis Pro 8K PC Wireless. Both controllers utilize Tunnel Magnetoresistance (TMR) thumbsticks to read stick position magnetically. This technology replaces traditional potentiometers, which helps prevent the stick drift that often plagues standard controllers.

Specifications

  • Polling Rate: 8,000Hz
  • Thumbstick Technology: TMR (Tunnel Magnetoresistance)
  • ABXY Switches: Mechanical mouse-click switches
  • Rear Controls: 4 paddles (2 removable)
  • Trigger Modes: Short mouse-click action or full analog travel

Technical upgrades extend beyond the thumbsticks. The ABXY buttons use mechanical mouse-click switches to achieve faster actuation. Scuf removed the side-mounted buttons found on previous models to stop accidental inputs during intense gameplay. The triggers offer two modes, letting users switch between a short mouse-click action and full analog travel.

Connectivity options depend on the model you choose. The wireless version maintains the 8,000Hz polling rate over both 2.4GHz wireless and a USB-C cable. The wired version delivers the same rate through USB-C alone. Both models work with Windows 10 and Windows 11, and four rear paddles sit under the fingers, with the inner two being removable.

Pricing starts at $119.99 for the wired model and $199.99 for the wireless version. Pre-orders opened globally on August 26, 2026. Scuf Gaming launched the Nemesis Pro 8K PC controller family on August 26, 2026, featuring 8,000Hz polling rates and TMR thumbsticks.
