Chuwi has launched the CoreBook Air 226V, a thin and light laptop powered by an Intel Core Ultra 5 226V processor. The system comes with 16 GB of LPDDR5X RAM and a 512 GB SSD. The SSD is replaceable via an M.2 2280 slot that supports PCIe 4.0, though the pre-installed drive uses PCIe 3.0.

The laptop features a 14-inch IPS display with a 2880×1800 resolution and a 90 Hz refresh rate. It includes two Thunderbolt 4 ports that support USB PD charging, monitor connections, and external graphics cards. Additional ports include one USB 3.2 Gen 2, one USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A, one USB 2.0, HDMI 2.0, and a 3.5 mm audio jack. Wireless connectivity is handled by Wi-Fi 6E, and a 2 MP webcam is built in. The chassis measures 312.9 x 22.5 x 16.8 mm and weighs about 1 kg.

The CoreBook Air 226V is positioned as an alternative to the MacBook Air, offering an Intel-based configuration with Thunderbolt 4 support. Chuwi has not confirmed any additional configurations or future availability in other regions.
