Publisher 2K has announced that the digital version of Lego 2K Drive will be delisted from all storefronts on May 19, 2026. The removal coincides with the third anniversary of the game's original release on May 19, 2023. Players who have not yet purchased the title will have a limited window to acquire it before the deadline.

Digital version removed from all storefronts on the third anniversary of release

The game will remain playable for existing owners until May 31, 2027. On that date, 2K will shut down all multiplayer servers for the title. After the server shutdown, any game functions requiring an online connection will cease to work. Single-player features will continue to function normally.

The product is available globally until the delisting date of May 19, 2026. No pricing information is currently available for the remaining copies. The announcement came via an update note on the game's digital store pages.

The timing of the delisting has led to speculation that the removal is due to a license expiration. This theory is based on the coincidence with the game's third anniversary but remains unconfirmed. VGC reviewed the game positively, noting its humor and customization options despite some launch issues.

2K has confirmed the specific dates for the delisting and server shutdown. The publisher has not confirmed the reason for the removal beyond the timing.
