Prusa and Noctua have released PETG filaments in Noctua's signature Beige and Brown colors. This release matters because PETG is tougher and more temperature resistant than the previously released PLA variants. Buyers who need durable printed parts for their hardware setups will appreciate the upgrade in material strength.

Durable PETG replaces PLA for matching Noctua hardware aesthetics

The new filaments are designed to match Noctua hardware aesthetics for 3D printed mods. They are available in Noctua Beige and Noctua Brown. This co-branded product line allows users to create parts that visually blend with existing Noctua cooling equipment.

Specifications

  • Material: PETG
  • Diameter: 1.75mm (+/- 0.02mm)
  • Weight: 1kg
  • Colors: Noctua Beige, Noctua Brown
  • Features: NFC OpenPrintTag

Each spool contains 1kg of material with a standard 1.75mm diameter. The manufacturing tolerance is specified at ±0.02mm for consistent extrusion. Every spool also comes with an NFC OpenPrintTag for easy identification and data storage.

Pricing is currently unlisted because Prusa has not listed the Noctua PETG filaments for sale at the time of publishing. Previous PLA spools were priced around $33. We looked at the earlier PLA variants earlier while tracking this collaboration.

Prusa and Noctua have officially launched these specific PETG variants. The filaments offer improved durability over the prior PLA options. Users can expect the same color matching with better physical properties.
