Ubisoft released a maintenance patch for Assassin's Creed Shadows on July 28 to address stability issues across multiple platforms. This update matters to players because it resolves specific gameplay and visual bugs that disrupt progress in key story areas. Ubisoft releases bug-fix update addressing gameplay and visual errors

The patch targets version 1.1.12 of the game, which corresponds to internal build number 1.022.026. Ubisoft confirmed the release date and purpose in their official update notes. The company stated the update is released to address bug fixes on July 28.

The update focuses on resolving technical glitches rather than adding new features. Fixes include gameplay issues in Domains such as Naoe's Grab, Adrenaline Drain, and the Speedrun modifier. Visual corrections address engraving display errors in Inventory and Forge menus, as well as perk descriptions. Quest fixes address terrain glitches in 'Claws of Awaji' and cutscene errors in 'Black Tides'.
