Grove Street Games is shifting the focus of its upcoming title BeastLink from traditional character control to large-scale environmental destruction. This change matters because players can now command colossal Beasts to tear through fully destructible cities, turning the urban landscape itself into a weapon. The developer aims to blend vehicle combat with monster fighting in a way that prioritizes chaos over precision.

The game arrives in Early Access on PC via on August 18. This initial launch phase allows players to test the core mechanics before the full release. Grove Street Games confirmed that and Xbox Series versions will follow later, launching alongside the complete game release. The title supports up to 32 players across these platforms.

BeastLink features a unique dual-control system where players can switch between human characters and towering Beasts. Humans can amass serum to Link with Beasts, each possessing unique abilities and combat styles. The environment supports heavy destruction, allowing players to deploy vehicles like cars, helicopters, tanks, and aircraft to unleash chaos.

The developer describes the experience as a collision between humans, vehicles, and colossal Beasts in war-torn urban settings. As the Link between player and Beast grows stronger, the player commands more power. This mechanic introduces a risk element, as the power threatens to consume the user. The game includes multiple modes for solo play or cooperative multiplayer.
