PC HARDWARE

Chuwi has released the LarkBox X 100U mini PC, offering a modest hardware refresh for budget desktop users. This update targets buyers who need reliable productivity tools without paying premium prices for high-end components. The device replaces an older entry-level chip with a newer processor to handle daily office tasks more efficiently.

Budget mini PC adds dual Ethernet ports and triple 4K display support

The new unit features the Core 3 100U processor, which Chuwi positions as a step up from the previous Intel N100 model. It comes equipped with 16GB of RAM and a 512GB SSD, providing enough memory and storage for standard workloads. The system supports triple display output through its Type-C, DisplayPort 1.2, and HDMI 2.1 ports, with all connections capable of 4K resolution.

Specifications

  • Processor: Intel Core 3 100U
  • RAM: 16GB
  • Storage: 512GB SSD
  • Graphics: Intel UHD iGPU (64EU)
  • Connectivity: WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, Dual Gigabit Ethernet

Connectivity options include WiFi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2 for wireless networking, alongside two Gigabit Ethernet ports for wired connections. The chassis also provides four USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A ports and one USB Type-C port for peripherals. The integrated Intel UHD iGPU with 64 execution units handles light gaming, though it cannot run AAA titles smoothly.

Chuwi lists the LarkBox X 100U at 439 USD (around $439) for the US market. An additional $40 discount coupon is available for purchases made until August 4, 2026. The performance jump from the older N100 model is not significant, but the system offers more than enough power for everyday productivity workloads.

This mini PC serves as a practical option for users who prioritize connectivity and display flexibility over raw processing speed. It confirms that entry-level hardware can still support modern multi-monitor setups at a low price point. The device ships with the specified hardware configuration and is available for immediate purchase.
