Xiaomi is preparing to launch the Xiaomi 17 Max, a new flagship smartphone. The device has appeared on Geekbench, revealing early performance numbers. It scored 3,750 points in single-core and 11,674 points in multi-core CPU tests.

Benchmark scores exceed Xiaomi 17 Ultra

The phone is equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset and 16GB of RAM. It runs Android 16. The Xiaomi 17 Max features a 200MP main camera, an 8000mAh battery, and a 6.9-inch display.

The Xiaomi 17 Max is scheduled to launch in China on May 21.

The benchmark scores place the Xiaomi 17 Max slightly ahead of the Xiaomi 17 Ultra, which scored 3,722 single-core and 11,411 multi-core in testing. The scores also exceed the current average for Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 phones, which is 3,651 single-core and 11,188 multi-core.

The benchmark listing may not reflect final retail performance, as pre-release scores can differ from shipping units. Xiaomi has not confirmed the launch window outside China.
