This edition serves as a definitive way to experience the story, leveraging the improved capabilities of the Switch 2 platform.

The game runs at 60 frames per second in both TV and handheld modes. Visuals reach 4K resolution when connected to a television and full HD when played on the handheld screen.
Beyond the resolution and frame rate upgrades, the edition introduces new gameplay features and content. Players can access a new rare Blade that comes with a dedicated quest. The update also includes a new action battle mode that allows for direct control of Blades during combat. Exclusive equipment designs for the characters Pyra and Mythra are included in this edition.
