For the gamers who have been waiting for a long time for a PC port of the Uncharted series. Well, the official port might not be there, but you got an option. Unofficial port of Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection has been published by Supermedo, allowing the classic trilogy to be enjoyed on PC.
Unofficial port brings keyboard, mouse, and modern upscaling to classic trilogy
This is important as finally, the PC will get a chance to have its modern hardware and input device choices to enjoy the console exclusive games. The port has a launcher for the users to launch all three games from a single place.
In addition to that, the software package offers keyboard and mouse controls. This greatly alters the way you experience the action-adventure games. Plus, it has a plethora of modern graphics upscaling techniques to make old games work on new systems.
The list includes TAA, AMD FSR 3.1, AMD FSR 4, or NVIDIA DLSS. And to make things even better, you get to enjoy AMD FSR 3 Frame Generation or NVIDIA DLSS 4.5 Multi-Frame Gen for better-looking graphics.
Further, our performance tests prove that this port can achieve high frame rates on certain system setups. You can play all three games at 120FPS with native 1440p using an AMD Ryzen 5 7500F processor with 32GB RAM and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 SUPER graphics card. According to the developer, it's a port that supports framerates higher than 60FPS, with above 120 being experimental. This means that with the right system, you can enjoy much more smoother gaming experience compared to the original 30FPS targets of the console.
However, this is a beta release that comes with certain bugs. As per the developer, Uncharted 3 might have a single-frame flash of green or black shapes appearing on characters. Overall, they are looking at it as the first public release.
So, expect the port to keep getting better. You can download the PC port from the official GitHub repository of Supermedo.
