Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection is now playable on PC thanks to an enthusiast port featuring 120 FPS support, DLSS, and FSR upscaling technologies.

Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection by Sony was never ported to personal computers. This means that PC gamers have been missing out on the chance to play the trilogy of the games. Thankfully, an enthusiast called Supermedo took the initiative and ported the Playstation exclusive to the PC. With this unofficial port, players will be able to enjoy the games at high frame rates and with all the upscaling technologies that weren't available on the original PS games.

Enthusiast Supermedo releases unofficial PC port of the PS4 trilogy

With this unofficial port, PC gamers will be able to play all three games of the trilogy. That includes the original Uncharted, Uncharted 2: Among Thieves, and Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception. Supermedo made this port on their own and not through an official studio. The source code of the 'uncharted_pc' project is available on GitHub for full transparency and community contribution.

It is possible to play the games at native 60 FPS which is what you would experience on PlayStation 4. Alternatively, players can also run the games at 120 FPS for their high-refresh displays. A number of modern upscaling techniques are supported like TAA, 3.1, AMD FSR 4, and (with DLAA support). AMD and NVIDIA features are also implemented in order to ensure that the game runs smoothly on a variety of hardware.

There is the option to play the game with keyboard and mouse controls which was not originally available on PlayStation. Note that the game files are not present in the archive due to copyright issues. Users will have to provide their own games for the port. This makes the port a launcher/enhancement instead of the game itself.

This fan port shows that community developers can help extend the life of exclusive games even when they were originally restricted to a certain platform. PC gamers that missed out on playing these games during their initial releases will have a technical way to do so now. Source code is available on GitHub which means that the community can continue contributing and troubleshooting as needed.
