Expansion adds four legendary lords while free update overhauls game systems

The expansion adds four new legendary lords to the game: Nagash, Thanquol, Boris Todbringer, and Glottkin. The new legendary lords offer unique gameplay mechanics and story elements within the campaign. Creative Assembly also released a massive free update, version 9.0, at the same time to overhaul existing game systems.

Version 9.0 reworks key game elements to improve balance and gameplay flow. The update accompanies the paid expansion but is available to all players regardless of ownership.
