Saber Interactive released Hotfix 13.1 for Warhammer 40K: Space Marine 2 on May 27 across consoles and PC. The update addresses several community-reported issues and introduces new content for the Siege Mode.
Gunstrike damage restored to pre-13.0 levels
The hotfix restores Gunstrike damage values to their pre-13.0 levels in PvE. Plasma pistol variants also received adjusted gunstrike damage to better match their intended role.
- Gunstrike damage values: Restored to pre-13.0 values
- Plasma pistol gunstrike damage: Adjusted to reflect new version specialty
- Atonements start wave (normal): Wave 11
- Atonements start wave (hard): Wave 6
- Ordeal requirements reduction: From 10/30/100 to 10/25/50
Siege Mode Atonements now begin at wave 11 on normal difficulty and wave 6 on hard difficulty. This change gives players more time before facing additional challenges.
New Surplus blessing doubles equipment capacity
A new Blessing called 'Surplus' doubles equipment capacity and spawns. Three new Atonements have been added: Hardened Skins, Posthumous Proliferation, and Booby Trap.
Requirements for class-specific Ordeals on Absolute difficulty have been reduced from 10/30/100 to 10/25/50. This makes the hardest challenges more accessible.
The update fixes several crashes, including French and Spanish voice-over crashes on consoles. It also resolves a bug where perks would reset their cooldown after switching loadouts, and fixes Pyreblaster Canister spawning issues in Siege Mode.
Hotfix 13.1 is available globally now on all platforms. The patch brings balance adjustments, new gameplay modifiers, and stability improvements to Space Marine 2.
