Honor has introduced the Pad X9 Max, a large-screen tablet designed for media consumption and light productivity. The 13-inch form factor targets users who prioritize screen real estate and battery life over portability. This device offers a middle-ground option between standard tablets and bulky laptops for tasks like reading and video streaming.

Large-screen tablet targets media consumption with long-lasting power

The tablet runs on the Snapdragon 6s 4G Gen 2 chipset, paired with up to 6GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. It operates on MagicOS 10, which is based on Android 16. The hardware configuration suggests a focus on efficiency rather than high-performance gaming or heavy multitasking.

A 10,100mAh battery supports up to 16 hours of video playback or 13 hours of reading on a single charge. The device includes 45W fast charging to replenish power quickly. Connectivity relies on Wi-Fi 5 and Bluetooth 5.1, with a USB Type-C port for data and charging.

The display features a 120Hz refresh rate and a resolution of 2500 x 1560 pixels on a 13-inch LCD panel. Audio is handled by four speakers with IMAX Enhanced support. The tablet measures 297.62 x 192.72 x 6.72mm and weighs 618 grams.

The 4GB plus 128GB variant is priced at £349.99 GBP (around $468). The 6GB plus 256GB model costs £449.99 GBP (around $602). Both versions are currently listed on Honor’s UK website, although sales have not yet begun.
