Realme 16 Pro+ Storage Benchmark: Sequential Write Lags Behind Poco X8 Pro

Realme's upcoming 16 Pro+ smartphone has been benchmarked for storage performance, revealing mixed results compared to rivals. The device achieved a sequential read speed of 1,997 MB/s and a sequential write speed of 1,729 MB/s, according to Notebookcheck.

In random read and write tests, the Realme 16 Pro+ scored 299 MB/s and 402 MB/s, respectively. These figures place it behind some competitors in write-intensive tasks.

The Realme 16 Pro+ is priced at 600 USD (about $600) in the US market.

Compared to the Poco X8 Pro, the Realme 16 Pro+ sequential write speed is significantly lower. The Poco X8 Pro reached 3,565 MB/s in the same test, nearly double the Realme's result. Additionally, the random write speed lags behind the Nothing Phone (4a) Pro, which achieved 547 MB/s.

Notebookcheck, which conducted the benchmarks, has not confirmed the official launch date or availability of the Realme 16 Pro+.
