HP has started selling a new OmniBook X 17-inch laptop. The slim design packs 's latest Panther Lake processors and integrated Arc B390 graphics. This model trades the discrete GPU of its predecessor for a more power-efficient integrated solution.

Panther Lake processors and Arc B390 graphics debut

The OmniBook X 17 weighs 2.39 kg and measures 396 x 258 x 15 mm. It features a 17.3-inch 1080p IPS display with 400 nits brightness, 100% sRGB coverage, and touchscreen support. The 16:9 panel uses a standard resolution that balances clarity and battery life.

Specifications

  • Display: 17.3-inch 1080p IPS, 400 nits, 100% sRGB, touchscreen
  • Processor: Intel Core Ultra 5/7/X7/X9 (Panther Lake)
  • Graphics: Intel Arc B390 (integrated, with X7/X9)

Buyers can choose between Core Ultra 5 325, Core Ultra 7 355, Core Ultra X7 358H, or Core Ultra X9 388H processors. The Arc B390 integrated graphics come only with the X7 and X9 chips. Memory options include 24 GB or 32 GB of LPDDR5X-8533 RAM, and storage reaches up to 2 TB PCIe Gen 5.

Pricing and availability details

According to Notebookcheck benchmarks, the Arc B390 performs comparably to a 4050. That is notable for an integrated GPU. All configurations ship with a 76 Wh battery.

Pricing starts at $1,499 in the US, CAD 2,199 in Canada, and €2,099 in the Eurozone. Availability is immediate in all three regions. HP offers different SKUs per region, with higher-tier models including more RAM and storage.

The previous OmniBook X 17 offered up to a GeForce RTX 4050. The new model shifts to integrated graphics for a thinner chassis. A GeForce RTX 5050 variant is expected in 2026.

The OmniBook X 17 is now available with Panther Lake processors and Arc B390 graphics. It combines a large display with a slim build and competitive integrated GPU performance.
