Hasee has released a new affordable mini PC in China that targets budget-conscious gamers and desktop users. The Ares Mini R78D offers a compelling entry point into PC gaming by including a dedicated external graphics card interface at a very low price. This configuration allows users to upgrade performance significantly without replacing the entire system.

The system is powered by an Ryzen 7 8745HS processor, which features eight Zen 4 cores. This Hawk Point APU also integrates the Radeon 780M graphics unit, providing sufficient graphical power for everyday tasks and lighter gaming. The hardware choice balances processing speed with integrated graphics efficiency for a compact form factor.

Benchmarks suggest performance is similar to the Ryzen AI 5 340. The company did not explicitly state the maximum RAM capacity, though similar systems with this APU support up to 256GB of memory.

The barebone configuration starts at 1999 CNY (around $297). This price point makes it one of the most affordable options for a system with eGPU support. While Hasee has a global presence, this specific model is unlikely to be widely available in markets outside China.
