FromSoftware president Hidetaka Miyazaki has confirmed the studio is working on unannounced games beyond the titles already revealed. The statement comes amid a shareholder dispute at parent company KADOKAWA.
Miyazaki satisfied with development environment
Miyazaki spoke to Denfaminicogamer about the studio's development pipeline. He said he was "broadly satisfied" with FromSoftware's current development environment. The studio works without excessive interference, according to Miyazaki.
The shareholder dispute involves Oasis Management, which holds 13.76% of KADOKAWA. The investment firm seeks to oust CEO Takanori Natsuno. Miyazaki's comments appear to be a response to questions about the company's direction.
Miyazaki asked fans to look forward not just to announced titles but to "unannounced titles beyond those." The exact nature of these projects remains unknown. FromSoftware continues to develop multiple games simultaneously.
