Square Enix has released a new update for Final Fantasy Tactics: The Ivalice Chronicles, bringing a highly requested feature. The update also introduces a Zodiac Compatibility function on the status screen. This feature displays how characters' zodiac signs interact, which affects gameplay mechanics. Players can now see these relationships without consulting external guides.

Several new gameplay settings are included. Maintain Auto-proceed keeps the auto-battle setting active between encounters. Ability Incantations Guaranteed ensures certain abilities always trigger, while Ability Cursor Memory remembers your last selected ability. These options give players more control over combat flow.

Adjustments cover multiple areas. A tile selection status check helps verify positioning before actions. The Remove All Equipment option speeds up gear management. Job unlock conditions are now displayed more clearly, and camera settings are retained between battles.

Language support expands with the addition of Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, and Korean text. This makes the game accessible to a wider audience. The update also includes minor text changes, sound effect adjustments, stability improvements, and bug fixes.
