Battlestate Games has celebrated its 12th anniversary by giving away a free gift pack to Escape From Tarkov and Escape From Tarkov: Arena players. This gift was a way for the developer to show its gratitude for players and keep them active in the game while they continue developing Escape From Tarkov and Escape From Tarkov: Arena. Players have until October 19 to collect the free gift pack in the game’s account center.

Players receive functional items and PvE AI adjustments

This gift pack for the 12th anniversary includes several consumable items that players can use in raids. Included in the gift pack are Alenka chocolate, condensed milk, tea, and moonshine. None of the items given away are cosmetic. They are functional items players can use.

A new technical update was also given for the PvE Zone. This update focuses on the behavior of enemies. The update decreases the PMC bot’s reaction distance as well as the cover time when trying to loot items. This is a way for the developer to try and balance out the difficulties of the AI experience in the player versus environment mode.

Battlestate Games gave an update in a direct message that they are not slowing down with development and have more content to come. They expressed their gratitude to the community for being supportive and keeping the interest in the franchise. This comes after several reports with the developers discussing balance and stability related themes with previous updates.
