Capcom is removing the majority of microtransactions from Dragon's Dogma 2 ahead of its Dark Arisen expansion. The developer states that these changes are necessary due to the development of additional content and various adjustments for the upcoming title update.

Capcom removes key DLC items and pulls Deluxe Edition from sale ahead of expansion launch
The company is pulling the Deluxe Edition from sale because it primarily contained the digital items being removed. Players can still access previously obtained downloadable content after the removal date.
Items leaving the store include the New Journey Pack, Heartfelt Pendant, and the Art of Metamorphosis character editor tool. The Explorer's Camping Kit remains available for purchase as an exception to this cleanup.
The microtransaction removal takes effect on June 24 at 5pm PT and 8pm ET, or June 25 at 1am BST. Capcom has not specified the exact amount of the permanent price reduction applied to the base game.
