Modder anygoodname has released a new modification for Cyberpunk 2077 that addresses several immersion-breaking bugs in the game's main story quests. The update targets specific technical issues that disrupt the player experience during critical narrative sequences.
Dialogue interface elements receive attention with this release
The mod corrects audio behavior in the power plant control room by fixing electric discharge sound effects that previously looped indefinitely after the player leaves the area. It also resolves a visual glitch in the 'Backs Against the Wall' quest where Cpl. Hare slides across the room instead of sitting properly, while simultaneously improving the alignment of his chair.
Dialogue interface elements receive attention with this release. The mod changes Takemura's small-talk choices from yellow to blue to accurately indicate looping dialogue options. Additionally, it ensures that quest music in 'Talent Academy' stops immediately upon completion and does not persist after saving and reloading the game.
anygoodname stated that the mod focuses on the most major immersion-breaking issues rather than attempting to make every aspect of the game perfect. Players can download the fix from Nexus Mods, where it is available for global access.
