Activision released a patch update for Call of Duty on May 22. The developer addressed several gameplay and interface issues across the game.

Activision adjusts competitive weapon limits and resolves technical glitches across multiplayer modes.

The update modified Ranked Play restrictions for the MPC-25 weapon. Developers changed settings for Muzzles, Underbarrel attachments, and Fire Mods to balance competitive matches. The patch also fixed user interface problems in Global settings. Players can now toggle weapon fire modes correctly. The fix resolves an issue where Molotov skin visibility failed in Zombies loadouts.

The update resolved a bug with the Multiplayer Field Upgrade called Black Hat. Players previously got stuck holding an undeployable Sentry Turret after using this upgrade. Developers also updated Zombies challenges to correct tracking for Act II Step 8. The patch fixed an issue that prevented players from unlocking the Aether Ruler title.

Activision continues to refine Call of Duty through regular maintenance updates. These patches target specific weapon balances and technical glitches to improve player experience in both Multiplayer and Zombies modes.

The developer has not confirmed details regarding future patch schedules or additional content releases.
