Acer has quietly opened preorders for the Aspire Go 15 AG15-Q31P in the UK, positioning the laptop as a budget alternative to Apple's MacBook Neo. This new model undercuts the rival by roughly £200, offering a lower entry point for students and casual users who need a reliable machine for daily tasks. Buyers seeking an affordable Windows laptop with modern connectivity options now have a concrete option to consider before committing to higher-priced competitors.

Budget laptop targets students with Snapdragon C processor

The device centers on the new entry-level Qualcomm Snapdragon C processor, which replaces traditional or chips in this specific budget segment. Acer designed the system to handle everyday workloads like web browsing and multimedia playback without demanding high-end hardware. The laptop ships with an 8GB RAM configuration and a 15.6-inch display that provides a standard 1920 x 1080 resolution for clear visuals.

Specifications

  • Processor: Qualcomm Snapdragon C
  • Display Size: 15.6-inch
  • Display Resolution: 1920 x 1080
  • Memory: 8GB
  • Storage: 128GB

Technical specifications include a 128GB storage drive and a 53Wh battery cell to support daily mobility. Connectivity options feature two full-function USB-C ports, a standard USB-A port, and an HDMI 1.4 output for external monitors. The system also supports Wi-Fi 6E to ensure stable wireless connections in modern home or office environments.
