The smart speaker introduces natural voice interactions and multi-step reasoning for home assistants.
The speaker integrates directly with Google TV Streamer to create a spatial surround sound setup using up to two units. This pairing allows users to expand their home entertainment system beyond standard single-speaker configurations.
Google equipped the device with 360-degree audio designed to balance sound across an entire room. The hardware includes advanced microphone processing to capture voice commands clearly from various distances and angles.
The system supports ten new voice options that aim to produce more natural conversational responses. It also handles multiple instructions within a single sentence while maintaining context through continued conversations without requiring wake phrases.
Google Home Premium access remains free for subscribers to AI Pro and AI Ultra plans, according to company statements. The device carries a price tag of $99.99 USD and goes on sale globally starting June 25.
