Mid-tier laptop features upgradable RAM, storage, and high refresh display

The new model ships with an Intel Core Ultra 7 251HX processor paired with 5060 graphics. The new variant provides significant processing power through its Core Ultra 7 CPU, positioning it as a mid-tier option within the ThinkBook 16p lineup. The laptop retains the established metal chassis design that defines the ThinkBook series durability standards.

Specifications

  • CPU: Intel Core Ultra 7 251HX
  • GPU: Nvidia GeForce RTX 5060
  • RAM: 32GB DDR5 (upgradable to 64GB)
  • Storage: 1TB SSD (upgradable to 4TB total)

Lenovo equips the device with 32GB of DDR5 RAM and a single 1TB SSD. Both memory and storage components are fully upgradable, allowing users to expand capacity significantly later. The system supports two M.2 PCIe slots for a total storage potential of 4TB and features two DDR5 slots that can hold up to 64GB of RAM.

The display is a 16-inch panel with 3.2K resolution running at 165Hz refresh rate. It covers 100% of the DCI-P3 color space and supports Dolby Vision for improved media playback. The laptop weighs 2.1kg and runs on an 85Wh battery that Lenovo states can sustain up to 200W of total power draw.

Lenovo priced this variant at 15,999 yuan in China. This cost translates to approximately $2,361 USD based on current exchange rates. The device is currently available only within the Chinese market.
