Artist Leo Torres has released a visual recreation of Ald'ruhn, a major city from The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind. The project utilizes Unreal Engine 5.7.4 to render the location with modern graphical fidelity. This effort aims to visualize a more realistic and lore-accurate scale for the cities of Tamriel.

The recreation employs several key rendering technologies to achieve its visual goals. Torres used Nanite for all models and plants to handle complex geometry efficiently. He applied Lumen to manage dynamic lighting and reflections within the scene. The artist also utilized TSR for anti-aliasing to ensure a clean image output.

The hardware used to generate this specific scene included an RTX 3090 GPU. The project serves as a portfolio piece for the artist rather than a commercial release. Torres has previously recreated cities from Skyrim and Oblivion using Unreal Engine 5. The current project is not available for download by the public.

This work highlights the capabilities of Unreal Engine 5.7.4 in handling large-scale fantasy environments. It demonstrates how modern rendering features can update classic game assets. The recreation stands as a technical demonstration of what the original title could have looked like with current technology.
