The software update enables the Xiaomi 17T Pro to exchange files with iPhones using Google's Quick Share service. The feature relies on a cloud-assisted workflow initiated by scanning a QR code with the iPhone.

Google has confirmed that the Xiaomi 17T Pro is part of a second wave of support for Quick Share compatibility. Other devices receiving this update include Samsung Galaxy S25/S24 series, OPPO Find X8 series, OnePlus 15, and Honor Magic 8 Pro/Magic V6.
