Vivo is preparing to launch the S60 series in China on May 29. The lineup includes a standard Vivo S60 and a separate Vitality Edition model. Both devices reportedly feature massive 7200mAh batteries and support 90W fast charging. These specifications suggest a strong focus on battery life for the upcoming release.
Standard model features Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 while Vitality Edition uses MediaTek Dimensity 7500
The standard Vivo S60 runs on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processor. It features a triple-camera system with a 50MP main sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, and a 50MP IMX882 periscope telephoto camera offering 3x optical zoom. The front houses a 50MP selfie shooter. This model also includes an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner and carries both IP68 and IP69 water and dust resistance ratings.
The Vivo S60 Vitality Edition uses a MediaTek Dimensity 7500 processor instead of the Snapdragon chip. It shares the same 6.59-inch flat display with 1260p resolution as the standard model. The camera setup on this variant appears simpler, as reports indicate it may lack the telephoto lens found on the flagship version.
The Vitality Edition retains the large battery and fast charging capabilities of its higher-end counterpart. Pricing details for either device have not been disclosed in current reports. Vivo has confirmed the May 29 launch date specifically for the Chinese market.
