MediaTek Dimensity 7500 appears in Geekbench on Vivo S60 Vitality Edition, scoring 1243 single-core and 3569 multi-core. Built on 4nm with Mali-G625 GPU.

MediaTek's Dimensity 7500 chip has surfaced in a Geekbench listing, hinting at a new mid-range smartphone from Vivo. The benchmark results offer a first look at the processor's performance ahead of an official launch.

Benchmark reveals 4nm chip performance

The Dimensity 7500 appeared on Geekbench running inside a Vivo S60 Vitality Edition. This device is expected to be the first phone to use the new chip, which MediaTek positions as a step up from the Dimensity 7400.

Specifications

  • Process node: 4nm
  • CPU: octa-core
  • GPU: Mali-G625
  • Geekbench single-core: 1243
  • Geekbench multi-core: 3569

Built on a 4nm process, the Dimensity 7500 packs an octa-core CPU and a Mali-G625 GPU. In the Geekbench test, it scored 1243 points in single-core and 3569 points in multi-core tasks.

MediaTek has previously claimed that the Dimensity 7500 offers a 24% improvement in single-core performance and a 21% boost in multi-core workloads over the Dimensity 7400. These numbers, if accurate, would make it a competitive option for mid-range phones.

The Vivo S60 Vitality Edition is said to feature a 144Hz AMOLED display and a slim 7.92mm body. Pricing in China starts at 2899 CNY (about $427), according to the listing.

The Dimensity 7500 fills a gap between MediaTek's upper mid-range and flagship chips. The chip is positioned against Qualcomm's Snapdragon 7-series and Samsung's Exynos 1380. The benchmark leak suggests the chip delivers solid performance for its class.

As a leaked benchmark, the scores should be treated as a rumor until MediaTek or Vivo confirms the specifications. What is clear is that the Dimensity 7500 is a 4nm octa-core chip with a Mali-G625 GPU, and the Vivo S60 Vitality Edition appears to be its launch vehicle.
