Vivo is launching the S60 series in China later this month. The lineup includes the Vivo S60 and Vivo S60e.

Ultrasonic fingerprint sensor unlocks in 0.1 seconds

The phones pack a 7,200mAh battery with 90W charging. They feature a 6.59-inch OLED display with 1.5K resolution and a Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset. An ultrasonic in-display fingerprint scanner unlocks in 0.1 seconds. The devices are IP68/IP69 rated for dust and water resistance. Other features include stereo dual speakers, an X-axis linear motor, and an IR blaster. The rear camera is a triple setup that may include a Sony IMX8-series periscope telephoto lens, though that detail is unconfirmed.

The Vivo S60 series will be available in China later this month. Multiple color options are planned, including pink. Pricing has not been announced.

Vivo Product Manager Han Boxiao claims the fingerprint sensor can register a print in just one second and unlock in 0.1 seconds. The phones also support magnetic accessories. A rumored S60 Pro Mini model has not been confirmed.
